The Armenian community of St. Catharines has deep roots in Niagara, with families who arrived generations ago carrying with them a rich culture, a resilient spirit, and an unshakeable commitment to preserving their identity.
The Armenian Community Centre was founded as a permanent home for that spirit — a place where language, music, dance, faith, and fellowship could be passed from one generation to the next. Today, we continue that mission through cultural programs, community organizations, and the Shiraz Ballroom, where celebrations become lasting memories.
